Impact of being healthy, wealthy and wise!

"It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad." The wordings of C.S.Lewis clear make a mark of the vicious circle of life that we live in. We need to come out of the vicious circle that we have created for ourselves and start living a healthy, wealthy and wise life that would give us the positive strength to lead the life in a confident manner.
'Healthy', 'wealthy' and 'wise' are those three words from a famous quote that says "Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise." But in the present scenario, what we see are the wordings changing, largely due to liberalization, privatization and globalization acronymed as LPG. Yes, people have been working according to the 24 hours clock schedule following the GMT, and made us captivated to such busy life.
There has been a huge shift in the sleeping patterns, timings, eating habits, lifestyle, etc. The body rhythmic cycles are changed according to the demands of the day. The words healthy-wealthy-wise initially followed the same pattern, where being healthy was the primary concern of the individual and also to keep one's family members healthy enough throughout the lifetime. Alas, the primary concerns have taken a back step and have become the secondary on the list, giving wealth a huge lead. We should not allow anything that would lead to negative impact on ourselves and instead follow healthy lifestyle which would emanate happiness from us.
The times are changing, and with increased LPG, one has to definitely adapt to the working conditions. No doubt. But all this is happening at the cost of health. The changes that we can see are so obvious, for instance, the lifespan of an individual has highly reduced, average age of a human has come down drastically, the deadly diseases are taking a huge toll. Keep them aside, there are problems arising in the irregular menstruation cycles, knee and other joints problems, increased number of cases for diabetes, abnormal blood pressure patterns, etc are a few to the list.
Earlier the major aim of the people was to have good meals in the day and have a good and healthy life. Then, why not today ? Are we forgetting our principles or the teachings or are we stepping towards the worse. These days the mantra of life has changed. The aims and ambitions of individuals have changed largely. Needs have increased. It is not bad to have an increase on the needs of an individual, but again, not at the cost of health. Fulfilling them and moving step-to-step with the society and worldly changes is another compulsion.
Against giving in to all these changes happening around, an individual must not be ignorant of the soul that he resides into, he is the owner of his own soul. An individual in oneself needs to spark the will to change, to change for the good, to take the steps necessary for one's own betterment and progression. It is important to be adaptable and accepting the changes. Changes are inevitable.
Lets not be ignorant of the changes and of our own health and take a pledge to step towards a healthy being. Keeping oneself fit and healthy should be the sole-mantra of life. A good health is the best wealth an individual can ever have the possession of, because healthy body is where a healthy mind and soul reside and we have to be the best care-taker of our most prized possession. We should, thus, not be ignorant of our own health and take the best measures to have positive impact.
